The German startup Lamipress approached us with their incredibly smart idea to revolutionize the production of safety glass and save enormous amounts of energy. However, their initial machine simply didn’t communicate what it kept inside... (PS: It was genious!)

Operating like a giant sandwich toaster, the Lamipress is an eco-friendly alternative to energy-hungry autoclaves for the process of 'baking' safety glass. An awesome concept, but to become a fully operational machine, it needed some essentials - and we’re not even talking about the aesthetics yet. At that stage, it was still just a raw technical package, lacking user safety...

We enhanced the design by adding only safety-relevant panels, conveniently in bright Porsche GT3 orange. Additionally, we anodized the entire machine bed - crafted from silver Bosch-Rexroth profiles - black. Within a matter of months, it was not only smart on the inside but also sleek and appealing on the outside, all by doing what needed to be done in a smart and efficient way.
